St Agnes Parish Council run allotment sites at Mount Hawke and Mithian that residents can apply to join under a tenancy agreement.
Services
St Agnes Parish Council provides a range of local services to support the daily needs and wellbeing of the community. From maintaining public spaces and amenities to overseeing allotments, play areas, and the library, the Council works to ensure St Agnes, Porthtowan, Mount Hawke, Mithian, and Blackwater remain safe, welcoming, and vibrant places to live.
Burials
The Council maintains two cemeteries within the Parish and aims to provide the highest possible standards of care, choice and dignity to those who suffer bereavement.
Car Parks
The Council is responsible for two car parks in the Parish.
Dog Control
Cornwall Council introduced a dog fouling order for all of Cornwall to ensure all areas have the same levels of enforcement for dog fouling.
Footpaths
The Parish Council in conjunction with Cornwall Council are responsible for the cutting, clearing and maintenance of Public Rights of Way (PRoW) within the Parish.
Library
St Agnes Library is run by St Agnes Parish Council and is part of the Cornwall Libraries network, providing books, digital resources and community services for residents and visitors in the parish.
Parish Youth Project
We are keen to ensure that the voices of young people are heard -informing and influencing the Council’s annual Youth Strategy goals from an early stage.
