JustPark Wallet coming to Beach Road Car Park, Porthtowan:

Cornwall Council and St Agnes Parish Council are working in partnership to bring the JustPark Wallet payment option to Beach Road Car Park in Porthtowan.
The JustPark Wallet allows motorists to pre-load credit into a dedicated wallet within the JustPark app and use that credit to purchase discounted parking sessions at participating Cornwall Council car parks. A minimum credit purchase of £35 applies, and the credit remains available for up to two years.
JustPark Wallet could be excellent value for money if you regularly commute or you regularly use a specific car park but don’t park every day of the week. Each parking session will expire at midnight on whichever day it is activated.

How much can I save?
By using JustPark Wallet, you will be able to park from:

* as little as £2.02 (all day)
* no more than £2.89 in Truro

To use the Wallet, motorists will need to:

* have a JustPark account;
* download the JustPark app to a smartphone;
* pre-load credit into their JustPark Wallet; and
* activate a parking session through the app each time they park.

The JustPark service can only be provided at car parks where there is a sufficiently reliable data connection to operate the system. Until now, poor signal at Beach Road has prevented this option from being introduced. St Agnes Parish Council has installed Starlink internet connection at the nearby public toilets. Through partnership working with Cornwall Council, this connection will provide the reliable connectivity needed to support the introduction of JustPark at Beach Road Car Park.
The JustPark Wallet will become available once the necessary technical work has been completed and Cornwall Council has confirmed that the service is live. This is anticipated September/October 2026. In the meantime, motorists should continue to use the existing payment methods and follow the information displayed on the car park signs.

Please note: The discounted JustPark Wallet is not available at Reppers Coombe Car Park in St Agnes.
For more information about how the Wallet works, current prices and how to purchase credit, visit Cornwall Council’s JustPark Wallet webpage.
