My service to the community and its visitors includes 25 years RNLI Lifeboat Crew/Helm/Press Officer and Station Operations Manager, 14 years in the HM Coastguard and 8 years’ service as a Special Constable in the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary.

My primary trade is as a Specialist Paramedic in Urgent & Emergency Care with an NHS Ambulance Service where I have served for over 30 years. I am an active volunteer Director and Crew of ‘Wetwheels South West CIC’ organisation and vessel, based in Falmouth, Founding Director of the ‘St Agnes Parishwide Defibrillator Network CIC’ (not for profit), Vice-Chair of the ‘Cornwall Ambulance Service Benevolent Fund’, and I assist the ‘Helping Hands St Agnes’ Facebook site as a moderator, when required.

Having grown up in the Parish and watched the development and challenges in so many aspects of village life here, I believe I am in a strong position of knowledge and personal connections with multiple organisations, businesses and people who live or serve our Parish in some way. Therefore, as a Parish Councillor, I aspire to support and facilitate our Parishioners in sustaining and improving the environment and its infrastructure, not only the residents and their families, but also our visitors.

My ethos is that Parishioners should approach me with their issues and concerns, with proposals, ideas, and suggestions, or, if there are concerns, I desire to be approached with ‘Constructive Criticism’ comments, so I can discuss and review their thoughts or ideas and present them to the Parish Council for further discussion or potential resolution.
