When I first joined the Parish Council, having first volunteered on a working group, I both lived and worked in St Agnes, although later I worked at Treliske. Since this time, I have been a Parish Councillor for many of the last 20 years, stepping back when work and other voluntary commitments gave me insufficient time to devote to the role. Taking early retirement at the end of 2023 gave me more time and enabled me to consider taking on the role of Chairman.
St Agnes parish is a vibrant community, with traditions to be maintained, and innovations to be made to cultivate the future of our wonderful supportive community, which I am proud to be a part of. I believe being a member of the Parish Council is the best way to help deliver the needs and services that our parishioners; and the visitors which support our businesses, deserve.
