I hereby give you notice that the Council Meeting of St Agnes Parish Council will be held as detailed above in the Notice of Meeting. All members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business about to be transacted at the meeting as set out hereunder.

Biodiversity

The Council has a duty to conserve and enhance biodiversity and must consider what policies, objectives, and action it can take, consistent with the exercise of its functions, to further the general biodiversity objective. Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006, s.40 & Environment Act 2021, s.102

 

Youth Strategy

The Parish Council is committed to supporting children and young people through its adopted Youth Strategy which shall inform all its decision-making.

To RESOLVE that the minutes of the meeting of the Council as above, having been previously circulated, be taken as read, approved and signed. To note any matters arising.

10.  2025/26 grant award review

To note resolution 221/25, 02.03.2026 and allocate the £1,701 grant budget underspend, with particular focus on

applicants who received less than 50% of their requested amount.

11.  Parish Youth Project, temporary funding

To receive a report as above and RESOLVE to adopt the Youth Strategy Working Group’s recommendation to

award a one-off grant of £8,757 as interim support for the Parish Youth Project pending public consultation.

12.  St. Agnes Parishwide Defibrillator Network annual support fund request

To receive a request for recurring annual support fund of £1,500 and report and RESOLVE a course of action.

20.  Request to Use Area Adjacent to War Memorial for Carnival Judging

To receive a request from the Carnival Committee to permit four judges to place a small table and chairs on the gravelled area to the left of the war memorial during the carnival procession for judging purposes and RESOLVE a course of action.

 

21.  Reports from Council representatives

To note written reports regarding Local Policing | Community Area Partnership | Village Hall committees | CIoS

Marine and Coastal Partnership |Playing Field Committee 5 Park forum and any others not covered at meetings

of other Council Committees.
