Terms Of Reference

The Council supports safer, more accessible parish footpaths by identifying barriers, prioritising improvements and seeking funding with community input.

The Asset Management Committee (AMC) oversees Council land, buildings and assets, including maintenance, repairs, compliance, risk management, budgets and related consultations.

The Cemeteries & Allotments Sub-Committee is appointed by and is solely responsible to St Agnes Parish Council’s Asset Management Committee (AMC).

The Communications Working Group advises on newsletters, social media and communications strategy to improve transparency, engagement and community cohesion locally.

The Human Resources (HR) Committee oversees staffing matters, employment policies, recruitment, appraisals, training, workloads, staff welfare and related confidential HR issues.

The Library Project Working Group’s role is to support the delivery, funding, engagement and oversight of the new library project.

The Planning Committee considers planning applications, policy consultations, enforcement matters and related representations on behalf of St. Agnes Parish Council.

The Strategy & Business Plan Working Group supports the Council’s strategic planning, priorities, projects, finances and community-focused service delivery.

The Traffic and Road Safety Working Group reviews local traffic concerns, engages with partners and recommends road safety improvements to the Council.
