Council Policies

The Council recognises that there are many selfless and hardworking people who give their time and resources to help. The Council want to recognise this by awarding certificates of recognition.

Co-option is the process by which the Parish Council selects a new Councillor to fill a vacancy by way of an agenda item at the Full Council meeting.

The Council recognises that from time to time there will be concerns expressed by members of the public over the activities of the Council or one of its Members or employees.

This policy explains how we collect, use, store and dispose of data in line with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable legislation.

The Council is committed to transparency and accountability. This policy outlines how the public can access information held by the Council and how personal data is processed and protected.

Risk management is important. The failure to manage risks effectively can be expensive in financial terms and in terms of service delivery.

The right to record, film and to broadcast meetings of the Council, Committees and Sub Committees is established following the Local Government Audit and Accountability Act 2014.
