When a conflict of opinion occurs regarding a planning application between the Parish Council and Cornwall Council (CC), the CC Planning Officer will contact the PC to outline the reasons.

The Council supports safer, more accessible parish footpaths by identifying barriers, prioritising improvements and seeking funding with community input.

The Asset Management Committee (AMC) oversees Council land, buildings and assets, including maintenance, repairs, compliance, risk management, budgets and related consultations.

The Council is committed to maintaining an accurate and up-to-date asset register to ensure the safeguarding of fixed assets.

The Cemeteries & Allotments Sub-Committee is appointed by and is solely responsible to St Agnes Parish Council’s Asset Management Committee (AMC).

The Council recognises that there are many selfless and hardworking people who give their time and resources to help. The Council want to recognise this by awarding certificates of recognition.

St Agnes Parish Council believes now is the time to put Civility and Respect at the Top of the Agenda and start a culture change for the local council sector.

Co-option is the process by which the Parish Council selects a new Councillor to fill a vacancy by way of an agenda item at the Full Council meeting.

The Localism Act 2011 requires the Council to adopt a Code of Conduct for Members.
