A by-election is being held to elect 1 councillor to represent the Mount Hawke Ward of St Agnes Parish Council.
Nomination papers may be obtained from the Parish Council office.
Completed nomination papers must be submitted in person to the Deputy Returning Officer at Cornwall Council, 0E, County Hall, Treyew Road, Truro, TR1 3AY.
The deadline for submitting nomination papers is 4pm on Friday 3 July 2026.
If the election is contested, polling day will take place on Thursday 30 July 2026.
Although the vacancy is for Mount Hawke Ward, candidates do not have to live in Mount Hawke. Eligibility is assessed in relation to the whole parish of St Agnes. This means that anyone who meets the parish-level qualifications may stand, regardless of which ward they live in.
Candidates must be supported by a proposer and seconder who are registered electors within Mount Hawke Ward.
