We’d like to make residents aware that Cornwall Council is currently consulting on proposals to introduce 20mph speed limits on most residential streets across the St Agnes & Perranporth Community Network Area (Phase 5 of the countywide programme).
The proposals aim to improve road safety, particularly for pedestrians, cyclists and other vulnerable road users, while helping to create calmer and quieter neighbourhoods. Buffer zones may also be included on approach roads where appropriate.
This is a Cornwall Council consultation, and we encourage residents to read the details and share their views directly through the official survey.
